Waitlist 2025 for Ubicoders Robotics Programs
My name is Elliot, and I'm a robotics engineer and educator with a core belief: robotics shouldn't be intimidating. Early in my career, I noticed a significant gap in accessible, practical resources for aspiring robotics engineers. That's why I founded Ubicoders – to provide clear, hands-on guidance and make intricate robotics concepts understandable for everyone.

Tired of Robotics Roadblocks? Clear Them.
Are you grappling with questions like:
- How do I bridge the gap between hobbyist projects and a professional robotics career?
- Where can I find learning materials that aren't for kids, but also not overwhelming academic research papers?
- What foundational knowledge do I truly need to robustly land in the field?
- How can I gain clarity on diverse robotics backgrounds and find the right path for me?
You're not alone. Welcome to a new era of robotics and A.I. education designed to solve these exact challenges.
The Hidden Truth
Many research labs, companies, and individuals dream of building their own robots. Yet, most struggle to even begin.
In this age of powerful A.I. assistants and popular tools like Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2), why is it still so hard to get started? Why couldn't you start? Why couldn't I start?
It's not your fault.
It's Not Your Fault
Robotics engineering isn't just about coding or assembling hardware. It's about system integration. The core problem is that many don't understand the major components of robotic systems or see the holistic picture of the field. Robotics is multidisciplinary, making it difficult to even know where to begin your research.
Have you tried searching for professional robotics engineering materials for beginners? Like me, you probably ended up with either kid's LEGO robotics or impenetrable research papers.
So, what's the alternative? Do you need to double major or go back to school? Absolutely not.
My New Approach: Experience the "Connecting Dots"
I once believed that double majoring in aerospace engineering and computer science would make me an "almighty robotics engineer" capable of developing autonomous vehicles. I was wrong.
My graduate school experience, particularly while helping students in the lab, revealed the true need for beginners: not textbooks or extensive lectures, but the experience of connecting the dots.
Few resources today genuinely offer this. They're either dry lists of information you can easily get from A.I. tools, or projects that encourage blind following without scientific explanation. This approach might make you a hobbyist, but not a professional robotics engineer.
Our Core Perspective: Math, Code, and Physical Behavior
On the surface, we offer three roadmaps: Autonomous Navigation, Perception & A.I., and Robotic Nervous Systems. ROS2, in this view, is just one part of a larger, holistic system.
However, the true core of Ubicoders is deeper. It's about empowering you to learn and experience connecting the dots between Math, Code, and Physical Behavior. This holistic approach is crucial.
- You're not just a software engineer or data scientist who handles the data per se.
- Your goal isn't just to memorize math formulae to impress your boss.
- You're not just a hobby maker assembling hardware.
Our courses are specifically designed with one goal: to provide the experience of integrating math, code, and the physical behavior of hardware. This is the perspective where you need to begin.
Currently, Robotics 101 is open. It's the cornerstone for all upcoming courses. Check it out below.
